IMPACT

TEMP - 1.png

Our aim is to assist students from the Washington community as they 'bridge' from high school to their post-graduation life. Each student possesses unique aspirations and ambitions, and we seek to enhance their experiences to facilitate the realization of their goals. We are developing grants and multiple programs to support this endeavor.

Student Grants

Student grants can help students prepare for life beyond high school -such as tools needed to start a career in the trades, application fees, apprentice program fees, entrepreneurship, etc.

STUDENT CAREER EXPLORATION

The career exploration directory provides contact information to local businesses which allows local students, and their parent/guardian, to explore and learn more about a career through job shadowing, co-op, or info sessions.

MENTOR SERIES

BRIDGE is in the trial stages of creating a series of Student Mentor videos. Each student mentor will be a high-school graduate from Washington, IL. The mentor will describe the path they took after secondary education.
