~ Paint the Path is a fundraiser for the Washington Bridge Education Foundation ~

All ages and abilities are welcome to showcase your artistic talents! We are once again offering cash prizes in the Creative Contender category!

When Is It?

June 20, 2026*

11am-4pm

*raindate June 21

Walking path between Five Points & Washington Fire Department

Buy a square. That's it! We provide everything you need to paint your masterpiece.

Regular Square - $20

4' x 4' Square

Standard Supply Bucket

- paint, brushes, chalk

- stirring stick

- mixing/blending plate

Large Square - $50

10' x 10' Square

Plus Size Supply Bucket

Creative Contender - $30

Cash Prizes ($250, $150, $50)

4' x 4' Square

Unlimited Use of Specialty Paint Colors & Tools

Bicentennial Contender - $30

4'x4' square (artwork must remain within the 4'x4' square)
Standard supply bucket plus access to specialty paint colors and tools
- A standard supply bucket includes paint, brushes, chalk, stirring stick, and plate(s) for mixing/blending
Painter must be declared 'Creative Contender before painting begins. Any 'Regular' or 'Large' square painters are allowed to upgrade to a contender standing before starting
Painter has from 11am-4pm to complete the square
Painter can bring brushes or tools to use, but only the supplied paint can be used
4pm is the official stop time of Paint The Path and judging will begin
4:00-4:30 cash prizes awarded to the top three painters when judging is complete
Creative Contender prizes are $250 for 1st, $150 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd place

Fan Favorite is determined by popular vote on Facebook
The artist with the most "likes" on their artwork receives a stylish Washington Bridge Education Foundation t-shirt and free entry in Paint the Path 2027
