'Painting A Path to Careers for Washington students'
~ Paint the Path is a fundraiser for the Washington Bridge Education Foundation ~
All ages and abilities are welcome to showcase your artistic talents! We are once again offering cash prizes in the Creative Contender category and in our Bicentennial Competition category to celebrate 200 years of Washington!
Celebrate Washington's
Bicentennial
We have added an additional competitive category this year offering cash prizes! Compete for $500, $250, and $150 prizes by painting a tribute to Washington's history in a 4x4'square on the path. Get inspiration for your artwork by learning about Washington's past at Washington Rewind .
Creative Contender & Bicentennial Competition Details

4'x4' square (artwork must remain within the 4'x4' square)

Standard supply bucket plus access to specialty paint colors and tools

A standard supply bucket includes paint, brushes, chalk, stirring stick, and plate(s) for mixing/blending

Painter must be declared 'Creative Contender' or 'Bicentennial Contender' before painting begins. Any 'Regular' or 'Large' square painters are allowed to upgrade to a contender standing before starting

Painter has from 11am-4pm to complete the square

Painter can bring brushes or tools to use, but only the supplied paint can be used
-
4pm is the official stop time of Paint The Path and judging will begin

4:00-4:30 cash prizes awarded to the top three painters when judging is complete

Creative Contender prizes are $250 for 1st, $150 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd place

Bicentennial prizes are $500 for 1st, $250 for 2nd, and $150 for 3rd place
