Paint the Path
Annual Fundraiser

'Painting A Path of Opportunities for Washington students' 

​~ Paint the Path is a fundraiser for the Washington Bridge Education Foundation ~

 

All ages and abilities are welcome to showcase your artistic talents & all 4'x4' squares are eligible for cash prizes. Paint not your thing? You can bring your own chalk!

Creative Contender Details

  • 4'x4' square (artwork must remain within the 4'x4' square)

  • All 'Regular' 4'x4' squares are eligible for awards, you do not need to specifically register for the competition beyond buying a regular square.

  • Standard supply bucket plus access to specialty paint colors and tools on request

    • A standard supply bucket includes paint, brushes, white chalk, stirring stick, and plate(s) for mixing/blending

  • Those competing in the chalk category must bring their own chalk​​

  • Painter\Chalker has from 11am-4pm to complete the square

  • Painter\Chalker can bring brushes or tools to use, but only the supplied paint can be used in the paint category.  You must bring your own chalk if you compete in chalk.

  • 4pm is the official stop time of Paint The Path and judging will begin

  • 4:00-4:30 cash prizes awarded to the top three painters and top Chalker when judging is complete

  • Paint Creative Contender prizes are $250 for 1st, $150 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd place. Chalk Creative Contender prize is a single $150 award.

  • If your art contains a mix of chalk and paint, you will be considered for the chalk category.

Fan Favorite Details

  • All artwork is eligible for our Fan Favorite award

  • Fan Favorite is determined by popular vote on Facebook

  • The artist with the most "likes" on their artwork receives a stylish Washington Bridge Education Foundation t-shirt and free entry in Paint the Path 2027

  • We encourage all participants to share the voting post with family and friends to maximize their votes and community engagement!
