The money awarded to Ms. Wood will be used to enhance two projects that were developed within the Transitions Program at WCHS.
"Ultimately, my goal for creating both Panther Perk and Cards for Kindness is that I have found that my students benefit most from project-based learning. Students practice skills such as: proper customer service, money, taking inventory, stocking, sorting, repetition of patterns and following single or multi-step directions. They are able to actually learn while doing, and then apply those skills in an employment based setting."
